Commission Work

1. Purchase of original painting/ drawing

My portraits are mostly life-size and in oils. Each painting takes up to two months to finish plus a drying time of oils, another 2-3 months before it can be shipped safely.

Fees:

Pencils - Portrait Size	Fee

A pencil drawing takes up to 4 weeks to finish and all drawings are shipped rolled.



2. Purchase of Oil Hand painted photograph on canvas

All images are processed in darkroom and hand painted in traditional oils, on canvas (optionally watercolor paper).
Delivery time: up to 4 weeks plus a drying time of oils, another 4 weeks so it could be packed & shipped safely.

I would either need from you:
- black and white negative of the photograph
or
- digital image, size at least 6 megapixel (I would make digital negative out of your image and use it instead of negative)
or
- I would come to the location and take a picture of the subject if requested (extra charge)

I request 40% of deposit of the agreed amount when the commission artwork contract is signed (that is before the actual work on the painting begins). The rest of the amount is paid when the artwork is finished and the customer satisfied.

Purchase of artwork does not convey copyrights.
Shipping cost is not included in the fee above.

Q. How long will it take to get my order?
A. All prints ship within 4 business days. However, as with most mail order businesses, we ask that you allow 1 to 3 weeks for delivery.

Q. How do you ship the orders?
A. Orders shipped outside Czech Republic will be sent via registered air mail. All prints are packed carefully so they wouldn't get damaged.

Q. How can I check the status of my order?
A. Just e-mail us with your information, and we’ll get right back to you. Be sure to provide us with your first and last name, order number, and the date you placed your order.

Q. Can you mail me a catalogue?
A. We don't have a catalog, everything we sell is on the website.

Q. Do you ship outside the Czech Republic? How much does it cost?
A. We ship worldwide. All customs and duty fees are the responsibility of the recipient.

Q. What is your return policy?
A. Notify us by email of any returns within 5 days of receiving your package. If an item is damaged, return it and we will send you a replacement. Packages must be returned prepaid; we do not accept C.O.D. deliveries. You must use a shipper that provides shipment tracking, as we are not responsible for lost return shipments. Please note, the shipping fee is a fee that is paid to the shipping company, not to us, therefore all shipping fees are NON-REFUNDABLE.

Q. My credit card shows a charge from 2checkout.com and no charge from helenakadlcikova.com. Why?
A. Your credit card is charged through a seperate shopping cart that we lease. Chargebacks cost us a hefty fee, so if you are in doubt of this charge, please email us right away.

Q. How do I know if the order I placed online went through?
A. An e-mail confirmation will be sent to you after you place your order. Normally you will receive this confirmation within 4 days. Please contact us, and we will check our records for you.

Q. Is it safe to place orders online?
A. 2checkout.com uses a 128bit encryption Secure Socket Layer (SSL) and all orders are passed through this encryption. This encryption is certified and verified by Verisign, the Internets leading security agency.

Q. What methods of payment do you accept?
A. We accept VISA, Mastercard, American Express and Discover through the site only (we don't have an independant credit card machine) and PAYPAL.
