I will have a solo exhibition of my photographs and painted photography in Krnov, Czech Republic  from March 13 to April 8, 2010. Opening hours: daily exl. Monday 09:00-17:00.

I wanted to make a self portrait that would show me as a painter, photographer and a model; all in one photograph.
A self  timer was used.

Last week I’ve done a nude photoshoot with a new model and I really enjoyed working with her.  Hopefully we’ll do some more work in future…

I much more prefer low-key images to high-key. Especially with nudes…I like the mystery that darkness creates.

This was my first time shooting nudes with a model and I think the outcome is quite nice. For this particular shoot I used mostly just a single bulb…

In future I would like to concentrate on nudes photography a bit more. Human body is perfect for both painting and photography and I love how light can shape it and emphasize certain parts of it and draw viewers attention without actually showing too much.

With nudes, I think it’s much better to show less and keep the mystery than to show everything and then you have nothing to fantasize about…
