Photoshoot – portraits, exterior, London

July 7th, 2007

While I was in London, we decided to do an afternoon photoshoot with a friend of mine, Gabi.

As a location we chose  Bromton Cemetary for its beatiful arcades and plenty of shade and diffused light under numerous old trees.
Everything went well, until we realized it was getting dark and we should probably call it a day.  Once we got to the main gate, it was obvious we were locked up!  So after another hour of calling police and God knows who we were finally rescued. I don’d need to say how relieved I was because cemetery is not my ideal overnight place to stay, not to mention how encreasengly pissed off I was becoming lol :) . But looking back at it now, I must admit it was fun…

One of the pictures of Gabi I used for one of my first hand painted photographs. Working with photographic liquid emulsion is very interesting, especially because later I can add my oil paints to it…

A few pictures from that shoot follow…

And I also enclose a few pictures from the Bromton Cemetary. It’s really amazing place, not to mention all the squirrels living there who obviously are not intimidated by you at all and are trying to get some nuts from you all the time…
