Helena Kadlcikova (born October 14, 1975)
Painter, photographer
based in the Czech Republic, Europe
With my art, I've always tried to capture on canvas
or film beauty all around me in any form. I love to
surround myself with esthetically pleasing and beautiful
objects and I love the fact that people buy my art and
hang it in their homes. That's the most satisfying thing.
Basically I like to make people happy with my art.
When I make a portrait, I always concentrate on the
expression of the subject. Because the viewer should
be able to feel the portrayed person's feelings and
mood. The expression is very important to me and I value
it more than technique or anything else in portrait
work.

Art Exhibition at Visionary Event, London, April, 2006
There was an exhibition of my artworks at the event. Some of the artworks were created especially for the occasion and exhibited in public for the first time. One artwork was auctioned off with proceeds going to charity. Visitors could also see and purchase prints of my earlier work. See photographs taken at the exhibition HERE.
UNBREAKABLE
party, London, August 2005
There
was an art exhibition of my work as a
part of UNBREAKABLE party event in Marquee
Club, London in August 2005. Visitors could
view oil paintings that I've recently created
plus a brand new oil painting of Michael Jackson
called "Africa in Me". There was also a display
or printed artworks of my previous work. The
exhibition was viewed by hundreds of people.

Florence
Biennale 2005
I have been nominated by The
Internal Committee to participate in the Fifth Annual
International Biennial of Contemporary Art in Florence,
Italy this year.
BP
Award, 2005
Recently I have entered "The
Rest" oil painting into the BP award competition.
The best fifty pieces will be exhibited this summer in
National Portrait Gallery in London.
Commission
work for Mr. Jackson, autumn 2003
I have done an acrylic portrait
work for Mr. Jackson while staying at his ranch in 2003.
